Covid - 19 presents a new challenge for healthcare. To accommodate the dental needs of our community, Dr. Campeas has made himself available for private dental appointments. Private dental appointments limit the capacity of the office, to Dr. Campeas and an assistant. Most private appointments are the restricted to the first appointment of the day to ensure minimal risk of transmission. Dr. Campeas and his staff will take full PPE precautions.

The Center for Disease Control suggests the best practices to follow to reduce the risk of contracting Covid - 19 are:
Limiting your interactions with people as much as possible, and taking precautions to prevent getting Covid-19 when you do interact with others.
The Center for Disease Control acknowledges that there is a limited data on Covid - 19 and it may pose an increased risk to those with underlying medical conditions. These include but are not limited to: Asthma, Cerebrovascular Disease (affects blood vessels and the blood supply to the brain,) Cystic Fibrosis, Hypertension or High Blood Pressure, Immunocompromised state (weakened immune system) from blood or bone marrow transplant, immune deficiencies, HIV, use of corticosteroids, or use of other immune weakening medicines, Neurologic conditions, such as dementia, Liver disease, Pregnancy, Pulmonary fibrosis (having damaged or scarred lung tissues,) Smoking, Thalassemia (a type of blood disorder,) Diabetes, Children who have medical complexity, who have neurologic, genetic, metabolic conditions, or who have congenital heart disease.
